  • 2018 Sustainability Forum Call for Posters – The Tracy Farmer Institute for Sustainability and the Environment is calling for posters for the 2018 Sustainability Forum. The deadline to submit is Nov. 19. Click here for more information.
  • Vaccines Directly from Pharmacies – UK health plan members can now get three vaccines directly from pharmacies at no cost: Flu, Hepatitis A and Shingrix. Make sure to present your pharmacy benefit card. For questions, please contact the UK Pharmacy Benefits office at 859-218-5979.
  • Farm-to-Fork Meals for UK Students –UK students may stop by 207 Funkhouser on Wednesdays from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. for free, locally sourced lunches. Come enjoy a free, delicious and nutritious meal as we fight hunger and food insecurity on campus. We can’t wait to see you. Click here for more information.
  • LiveWell Check-In – This fall, you have an opportunity to participate in an integrative health screening. If you're on a UK health insurance plan, you'll receive a $100 rebate. Click here to learn more and to schedule an appointment. Sessions are available through Dec. 12.

  • Nov. 5-30 – Horticulture Club Advanced Poinsettia Orders. Order poinsettias for personal or event needs. A good color selection is available. The 6-inch plants will have four or more blooms per plant and come with a container cover. The order form is available on the club’s Facebook page or via email.
  • Nov. 8 – 2018 James C. Bowling Executive-in-Residence Lecture, 6-8 p.m., Kincaid Auditorium, Gatton College of Business and Economics building, presented by the Department of Integrated Strategic Communication. This year's executive-in-residence is Denise Kaufmann, partner and director of client development, Ketchum North America. Kaufmann's lecture is "Storytelling: How Brands Express Themselves." The free and public event will also recognize the Excellence in Public Relations Award winner Ellen Gregory, vice president of marketing and communications for Midway University.   • Now-Dec. 7 – Elderly Holiday Donation Drop-off, N318 Ag Science Center. Accepting donations for Dover Manor Nursing Home in Georgetown for the holidays. Donations needed are: shampoo/conditioner combo, shampoo, body wash, shaving cream, lip balm, blankets, powder, hair ties, lotion and deodorant.   • Dec. 6 – Sustainability Forum, 4:30-7 p.m., Hilary J. Boone Center. Through this event, the Tracy Farmer Institute for Sustainability and the Environment highlights accomplishments of UK faculty and students who conduct interdisciplinary research and other forms of scholarship relating to environmental and sustainability issues.
