Faculty and Staff Life

  • Holiday Reminder – As you are aware, from Dr. Capilouto’s message, eligible staff who worked on Labor Day (Sept. 7) can utilize the leave, as a floating holiday, through Dec. 31. When employees submit the leave request, regardless of which day they plan to utilize the leave, the leave type should be recorded as Holiday-Labor Day. For a full list of FY’21 holidays including the load dates and message from Dr. Capilouto, click here.
  • CONCUR Go LiveSAP Concur will be used as the university’s expense management system for travel expense reports and non-travel procurement card expenses, replacing SAP TRIP and the procard reconciliation process. The travel booking system in Concur will remain the same but will include added features for requesting and expensing travel. Procurement policies and procedures were refined through a partnership between Purchasing and University Financial Services in order to simplify financial accounting for users.
  • Flu Season and Free Vaccines – As a reminder, UK Health Plan members can now get these three vaccines directly from pharmacies at no cost: Flu, Hepatitis A and Shingrix. Employees will need to present their benefit card. If there are questions, please contact the UK Pharmacy Benefits office at 218-5979.
