  • UK Women's Forum Employee Educational Assistance Award – Applications are now being accepted for the University of Kentucky Women’s Forum Employee Educational Assistance Award. This award provides a $250 reimbursement to eligible UK employees to assist with the cost of books and/or other materials, supplies and fees related to their UK coursework. This award complements the existing tuition waiver program for UK employees, the Employee Education Program (EEP). The deadline for application is Jan. 18. Apply here.
  • "Let's Make a Difference" funding competition to transform a public space – UK Facilities Management is launching “Let’s Make A Difference: A Campus Partnership Initiative 2021,” where members of the UK community can submit a public space on campus that needs a transformation for up to $15,000. Take two to five  photos or record a two-minute video of the area and explain how it will make a difference to users. Submit to lets.make.a.difference@l.uky.edu by Jan. 15.
  • Access to digital Wall Street Journal offered by UK – Members of the UK community can now access The Wall Street Journal free of charge. The Institute for the Study of Free Enterprise in the Gatton College of Business and Economics, along with the Student Government Association , have partnered with WSJ to provide school-sponsored memberships to all students, faculty and staff. Visit WSJ.com/UKentucky. Those who currently pay for an existing WSJ account can call 1-800-JOURNAL for a possible partial refund.
  • Safe, Swift, Sustainable - W-2 Program – You may elect to receive the 2020 W-2 online through Employee Self Service. Benefits include: earlier access to W2, eliminate the possibility of your W-2 being delayed or lost in the mail and accessing your W-2 statement anytime (2013 and future W-2s will remain online for multiple years).
