This project will allow extension professionals to bring youth and other participants from their community to our facilities and learn about the importance of beekeeping. We host about 65 schools in our Spring and Fall seasons, as well as a huge summer camp program. Our apiary will also be able to be used by professional beekeepers in order to assist their associations in educating members. Members of our camp team will be educated in beekeeping, which provides opportunities for professional development in these areas.
