  • UK Football Tickets Available The College of Agriculture, Food and Environment Alumni Association has 2021 UK Football tickets available for purchase. All tickets are in Section 30, Rows 40 and 41. Below is the schedule and price breakdown.

A very limited number of individual parking passes are also available for purchase. Those parking passes are for the E.S. Good Barn (behind the building on the lawn). They are $50/ea and allow for one vehicle and one 10 ft x 10 ft tent. No parking is allowed in the lot prior to 8 a.m. on game day or past midnight the evening of the game. If paying by credit/debit, there is a $5 fee added to the total.

  • Job Opening: Administrative Staff Officer II – The College of Agriculture, Food and Environment Department of Horticulture seeks a budget officer. The budget officer manages all financial and business operations, provides financial forecasting as well as strategic planning. Duties include providing oversight of department payroll, purchasing, procurement, and travel processes to ensure compliance with university policies and procedures. The deadline to apply is 8/31. Sept. 2 – Cultivating Inclusion Series: Land Acknowledgment Statements: Recognizing, Honoring, and Respecting the Land We Occupy
, 12 p.m. In this online event, participants will increase their understanding of what land acknowledgment statements are, why, and how to use them. Dr. Emily Sorroche, Michigan State University, will lead a conversation centering on the inclusion and exclusion of indigenous communities, share how the Morrill Act affects statements, and share resources and how Michigan State University utilizes a statement of their own. Sept. 13 – 2021 Kentucky Water Resources Annual Symposium, 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. The 2021 Kentucky Water Resources Annual Symposium will be held on Sept. 13, 2021, at the Marriott Griffin Gate Resort in Lexington, Ky. The day-long event combines platform and poster presentations that allow attendees to hear the latest in water research, practice, and education. Regsiter for the event here.
