4-H members from across the State of Kentucky gather to test their knowledge of the livestock industry. There are three levels of age divisions with a varying degree of difficulty for each division. The team that wins the Senior division represents Kentucky at the National Contest in November held at the North American Livestock Exposition. There are a total of 34 stations of competition and each stations has either activities on paper, pictures, actual equipment, meat cuts, feedstuffs, live animals and team activities.
